Calling all warriors in 2015! Our families who are fighting need us more than ever! We are gearing up for the 5th Annual Unite for Life Challenge on August 22, 2015 at beautiful Baldwin Park in Orlando, FL. Bring your friends, family, and or pets for a 2.5k fun run/walk. Or hangout after the event for games, awards, prizes, and food and drinks.

"A hero is an ordinary individual who
finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming
obstacles." It is the mission of those at TLCF in mind. With sincere
gratitude, we thank everyone for the love,
encouragement, and hope. Your dedication has made it possible for
us to ease the burden of families living with cancer.
Your support has impacted the
lives of families coping with the stress of cancer. We are undergoing some
unforeseen & very unfortunate changes with the foundation. The
previous leadership failed their fiduciary
duties to keep the Ty Lewis Cancer Foundation’s state and IRS status intact. This has temporarily deterred us from serving
our mission of helping others in their time of need. We have state
requirements back in order and we are awaiting reinstatement with the IRS.
However, we have a New Board of Directors, one dedicated to
ensuring our mission moves forward. A team of true professionals
dedicated to ensuring we honor Ty's memory with integrity & purpose.
The board is working with a new accountant to retro activated all donations
from time of the foundations birth.
We will
have a walk this year & more information will follow. In the memory of Ty Lewis
& all those fighting cancer. This year will hold a memorial walk/run,
estimated mid-April, Ty ‘s birth month. We will walk in memory and in honor of
those fighting and the loved ones lost to this horrible disease.
We are
informed donations can be excepted, but not claimed until our status is in good
standings. Our accountant will send a receipt once reinstated. Rest assured we
will begin again! We will need all our warriors to support us as we build our network
of warriors. We will end this note with a promise to carry on as Ty did with
" honor, strength & courage."

This is a "fun" ride benefitting the Ty Lewis
Cancer Foundation. All warriors meet at the Cady Way Trail trailhead located at
the Orlando Fashion Square Mall - right next to Dillards (3403 East Colonial
Drive, Orlando, Florida 32803). There will be three "fun" rides available
(10-mile, 22-mile, or 39-mile). This fund-raiser event is not a race - instead,
it is an opportunity for us to get out in some beautiful fall weather, have fun,
and honor Ty. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m, and the ride begins at 9:00 a.m.
A $10 contribution is requested.

The Annual Midnight Madness Indoor Soccer Tournament presented by the Ty Lewis Cancer Foundation.
The Midnight Madness Tournament is an event held In the true spirit of sportsmanship, this tournament proves to be exciting and fun with all the great indoor action for all age groups.
The last tournament was be held over the weekends of the 10th and 11th of January 2009 (U10 - U13), 17th and 18th of January 2009 (U14 - HS), and the 24th and 25th of January 2009 (Men's and Women's) at the Dulles SportsPlex in Sterling, Virginia. The tournament is open to all travel and non-travel players for both boys and girls ages U10 through High School as well as men and women. The 2011 tournament is already in the works!!!
